Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

This policy explains how Booth Society LLC (“Booth Society,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information through boothsociety.co, our photo booths, event activations, bookings, and related services.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, booking and event details, messages, survey responses, and preferences. Our photo booth experiences create photos, GIFs, videos, and related event media. We may also receive information from the organizer of an event you attend.

Our website and service providers may collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, and interaction data through cookies and similar technologies. Information collected depends on the features you use. Providing contact information is voluntary, but it may be needed to deliver digital media or respond to a request.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and manage bookings and event experiences; deliver requested photos and other media; answer questions; support customers and event guests; measure event participation; improve our services; prevent misuse; protect our systems and legal rights; and meet legal obligations. We may also use information for Booth Society promotions and communications where permitted by law and consistent with your choices.

3. Sharing with event organizers and other third parties

For an event experience, we may share your name, email address, event participation details, responses you submit, and event media with the organizer, host, sponsor, or corporate partner associated with that event, as disclosed when collected and subject to applicable law. Mobile phone information and SMS opt-in data are excluded from partner marketing sharing as described below.

Event partners may use eligible non-mobile information for event administration, reporting, audience engagement, follow-up, and marketing where permitted by law and any required consent. These permissions do not apply to mobile information collected for our text messaging program or to SMS opt-in data and consent.

We share information with service providers that help us operate our website, photo booth software, hosting, media delivery, communications, analytics, booking, and customer support. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of our business, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

Booth Society does not sell personal information to data brokers. This commitment does not mean we never share information: the disclosures described above may occur. Some laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly than a transfer for money. Where such laws apply, we will honor applicable notice, consent, and opt-out requirements.

SMS privacy carve-out: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties. SMS consent is specific to Booth Society and is not sold, transferred, or shared with event organizers, sponsors, or corporate partners for their messaging programs. This restriction controls over any broader sharing language elsewhere in this policy.

4. Email and text messages

SMS consent applies only to text messages from Booth Society for the purpose disclosed at opt-in. Entering contact information, using our website, accepting general terms, or consenting to event-partner email sharing does not itself constitute SMS consent. Consent to receive requested photo-delivery texts is separate from any consent to promotional texts. An event organizer must independently collect its own consent for its own messaging program; Booth Society SMS consent cannot be used for that purpose.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message. For Booth Society texts, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can also contact Hello@boothsociety.co for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on the requests you make and the program you separately opt into. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of text messages ends SMS delivery; it does not prevent you from contacting us through other channels.

5. Photos and event media

We use event media to provide the experience and deliver content to guests and clients. Depending on the event, media may be available to the event organizer or through an event gallery. Any promotional use of identifiable media is subject to applicable permissions, event notices, and law. Ask the event organizer about gallery access, and contact us if you have a concern about a photo or other media.

6. Cookies and third-party services

Cookies and similar technologies may support website functionality and help us understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser and any consent controls provided on the website. Blocking cookies may affect some features. Links and embedded services operated by other organizations are governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Retention and security

We retain information as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including delivering services, managing records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by information type, event arrangements, and legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You may contact us to ask about your information, request access, correction, or deletion, or object to certain uses. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may also have rights to receive a copy, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising, or appeal a decision on your request. We will handle requests as required by applicable law, including recognizing legally required opt-out preference signals.

Send requests to Hello@boothsociety.co with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and enough detail to identify the relevant event or interaction. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. Some information may need to be retained as permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing that occurred before withdrawal.

9. Children’s privacy

Our website and booking services are intended for adults. If a child participates in an event experience, a parent or guardian should supervise participation and provide any required permission. Please contact us if you believe we collected a child’s personal information without required consent so we can review and address the situation under applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The updated version will appear on this page with a revised date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. An update does not retroactively authorize uses of previously collected information that require new consent.
